(1) If it is deemed appropriate to grant permission in accordance with this Act after conducting the necessary investigation on the application made in accordance with Section 10, the designated authority shall issue the permit in the prescribed format within the following period stating the necessary conditions:- (a) In the case of small capital or cost projects, within thirty days from the date of application,
(b) In the case of large capital and cost projects, an application is generally made. Within ninety days from the date.
(2) Prior to the commencement of this Act, water and sanitation services, construction, operation and management of projects or service systems and organized organizations that are using public, institutional, commercial and industrial water sources shall obtain a permit as prescribed within one year from the date of commencement of this Act.
(3) Organizations that have not obtained a permit in accordance with sub-section (2) shall not be allowed to construct, operate and manage drinking water and sanitation services, projects or service systems, or to use water sources: public, institutional, commercial and industrial.
